Coffee Has Antioxidants

Getting 8 hours of rest, a great diet and consuming multi vitamins are among some of the most in effective means to maintain a healthy body. But do you know that drinking coffee is also advantageous to your health because it has antioxidants?

In a recent study researchers discovered that there are many effects produced by drinking coffee aside from increased alertness. The studies concluded that taking two to three cups every day can prevent several diseases such as Parkinson's disease, depression and prevent cavities.

Different studies show that the antioxidants contained in coffee can be more effective than those contained in fruits and vegetables.

Aside from coffee, other substances that also contain caffeine, which can help further boost the immune system, are tea and chocolate. Red wine or beer is also been found to-be helpful but these must be consumed in moderation.

For example green coffee beans have something inside called cholinergic acid. This is an antioxidant that helps govern the digestive system and can aid the body absorption of oxygen a good deal better than other liquids.

Some people drink coffee with cream, milk or sugar. Even if one or all three are mixed with coffee, the level of antioxidants remains the same so people can still draw the benefits of drinking it.

So, the next time you go to a coffeehouse and choose to get a beverage, chances are coffee may be ordered instead of a cup of tea. You will just have to decide from the different variations now available which could be either hot or cold.

Recent analyses have revealed that there is nothing unhealthy with drinking more than 3 cups of coffee a day.Although always practice moderation, know when enough is enough. After all, there is always tomorrow (yum) and it isn't that hard to brew up a new pot.

The only ones who should not drink coffee are those who are pregnant, are suffering from heart disease or children who will become fidgety and restless with the excess energy due to the caffeine
